I will serve the Lord for in Him there is my safety!

 Many of the times have you ever asked yourself why God will always deliver us from any affliction or bondage? I believe that we will have different answers one to another, but let us read from the book of Exodus in the Bible when God was sending Moses to set free the children of Israel from the captivity of the Egyptians.  (Exo 3:7)  And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; (Exo 3:8)  And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. The Spirit Of God will lift a standard In You

 In life a times things happen that lower our standards as we live and serve God. The standard of a Person can be lowered spiritually or physically in the following ways:- a.        Injustices and unrighteousness b.       Walking in darkness c.        Stumbling in life d.       Backsliding e.        Sinful life f.         Transgression g.       Unfruitfulness When the standards are lowered the enemy takes advantage to oppress the Christians and make their lives miserable and barren. You must resist that spirit of backsliding!

 Jesus said that you must pray to overcome the temptation of your life, this means when you do not pray temptation will overtake you and you find yourself in sin. When every time you live a life that is overtaken by sin and temptation then it could mean that you are under the influence of the backsliding spirit. We must resist the spirit of backsliding in our lives and we must live Jesus Christ. Our works should be the works of the Spirit of God not of the world. In the book of Revelation Jesus says to us that he knows the works that we are neither cold nor hot.  Rev 3:15  I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot.  Rev 3:16  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. we must overcome this because Jesus overcame on the cross for us and he said that all things are finished. Grace and Righteousness

  Praise the Lord beloved of God, Our God is great, mighty, and worthy of all the glory and honor. Today I desire that we get the word of God concerning the subject above; Grace and righteousness. We must understand what grace is and also what righteousness is. Grace is built on God’s love and it is the undeserved favor that God gives to us out of His love without doing anything. Longing for Zion in a foreign Land

 What is the longing of your heart? Where do you desire to be after the life of this world? I know these questions ring in your mind too. As you are working very hard serving God you have some hope just like Apostle Paul said that the hope of his life is to receive an uninterruptible crown that is not given by men but by the Lord Jesus Christ (1Co 9:25  And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. ). I believe we all hope for the crown but just as Paul we must serve labor on this earth serving God and preaching the good tidings which is the gospel or the Goodnews from the Lord Jesus Christ. That hope and longing is godly but it matters the land where you are. The place we long to be with the Lord after this world is Zion the city of the Lord that is full of righteousness of God but we live in a foreign land that is compared to Babylon the rejected land that is full of immora...

Be careful with what you have received from God

  I want you to have a deep thought about your life and all the things you have received from the Lord and analyze your behavior before and after you received the things from God. The reason for that is to help you understand whether your fellowship with God is intact or not. At the time when we need something from God we seem to be too close and we devote ourselves to pray and serve God but it is very unfortunate that after receiving a blessing from the Lord we tend to forget God.  Do you have a friend?   Do you know the friend Jesus? Every person tends to have a friend in life and those who lack friends in their lives are considered to be less fortunate in the society or even in the assembly of brethren because the friendship is tagged to a given value or price in life. When people come together to make friends they are aiming at a given objective or goal to achieve. I want us to look unto Jesus Christ as a friend but before that let us learn some types of friends/friendship. We have different kinds or types of friendships in our daily encounters in life as we interact with people.   Have you realized that when you fail to practise truth there are a lot of regrets that come into your life? Many people, families, and marriages do suffer a lot and get into bondage because of the falsehood that they tend to have. These problems come in times of decision making, choice-making, and many other more actions that we undertake. The foundation you raise in your life will depend on whether it is raised in truth or falsehood. If it is based on falsehood you will have a lot of cries in your life or what we call I wish I knew I could have done so and so.
